Market Access
AMFI’s work usually includes obtaining standards, following up on regulations, and handling market access issues. AMFI works very closely with local government bodies, particularly ministries of agriculture, veterinary departments, municipalities, as well as the various standards organizations in the region.
In terms of market access, AMFI works closely with regional FAS offices, local government bodies, and sometimes even customs authorities to obtain and verify standards and regulations, clear shipments, and provide member assistance. AMFI’s continuous visits to such entities, and close collaboration with them in the course of its work have served well to strengthen our government contacts across the region.
