The USA Cheese Guild continues to pursue its partnership with the International Centre for Culinary Arts (ICCA) to deliver a professional training program aiming to educate student chefs about U.S. cheeses and how to incorporate them in culinary applications. The first session for 2022 took place in March/April in the premises of ICCA – Dubai, as per the following schedule:
- March 23-24: Associate Level
- March 29-30: Intermediate Level
- March 31-April 1: Advanced Level
- March 29-30: Intermediate Level
- March 31-April 1: Advanced Level
A special graduation ceremony was prepared for students who completed the Advanced level and graduated as USA Cheese Specialists. Students were grateful and enjoyed learning valuable information on U.S. cheeses; they were impressed by the quality, versatility and variety of U.S. cheeses. The second round will run in August 2022.
